Terms of Sale and Use

Last updated: 12/7/2026

These terms apply when you buy or use a We Are Hello Baby digital guide. Please read them before you buy. By buying a guide you agree to these terms.

Who you are buying from

We Are Hello Baby is the trading name of Myrna van Vliet, a self employed trader (autónoma) registered in Spain, NIE Z0821651G, based at Passeig del Mare Nostrum 15, Ciutat Vella, 08039 Barcelona. You can contact us at hello@wearehellobaby.com. Our full legal notice is on our Aviso Legal page.

Our guides

Our guides are digital products, supplied to you as a PDF that you download or access online. When you buy a guide you may read, save, and print it for your own personal and family use. You may not resell it, share it publicly, or redistribute it. You are buying a licence to use the guide, not the rights in it.

Price and payment

The price is shown at checkout and includes any VAT that applies. Your purchase is complete, and a contract is formed between you and us, when we confirm your order and give you access to your guide.

What our guides are, and are not

The content of this website and our guides is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, and buying or reading a guide does not create a clinical or professional relationship between you and We Are Hello Baby or its reviewers. For anything specific to your own baby, your midwife, and then your health visitor or GP, are always your first port of call.

Your right to change your mind (withdrawal), and immediate access

Because our guides are digital and delivered to you straight away, this section explains how the normal 14 day right to change your mind works. For UK buyers this is the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013; buyers in the EU have an equivalent right.

Normally you have 14 days to change your mind about something you buy online and get a refund. For digital content that is delivered immediately, the law lets you agree to receive it straight away and to give up that 14 day right at the same time. So, before you can download your guide, we ask you to agree to two things at checkout, using a box you tick yourself:

I want We Are Hello Baby to give me access to my guide immediately, and I understand that I will lose my right to change my mind (my 14 day right to cancel) once my download begins.

This box is not ticked for you, and it is separate from agreeing to these terms. If you tick it and your download begins, you no longer have the 14 day right to change your mind. If you have not ticked it, or you have not yet started your download, you keep the 14 day right and can cancel for a full refund. To cancel, just email hello@wearehellobaby.com with your order details. You do not need an account to do this.

None of this affects your legal rights if a guide is faulty or not as described. Those rights always apply. See Refunds below.

Refunds

Change of mind. If your 14 day right to change your mind still applies (you have not started your download, or you did not agree to immediate access), email us within 14 days and we will refund you in full.

Faulty or not as described. If a guide is faulty, will not open or download, or is not as described, you have legal rights as a consumer. For UK buyers these are set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015: our guides should be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. If a guide does not meet this, email us and we will put it right, normally by giving you a working copy, and if we cannot, by giving you a refund or a reduction in price. These rights apply even if you agreed to immediate access.

How to ask. Email hello@wearehellobaby.com with your order details. We aim to reply within 5 working days and to make any agreed refund within 14 days, to the payment method you used.

Outside the situations above, we are not able to refund a guide you have already downloaded, but if something has gone wrong, please tell us and we will try to help.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or limits our responsibility for anything that cannot be limited by law, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Other than that, our guides are provided as preparation guidance, and you remain responsible for the decisions you make for your family, in consultation with your health professionals.

Our content

The guides, and everything in them, belong to We Are Hello Baby. You may use them for your own personal and family use only.

Changes

We may update a guide, for example to correct an error or reflect updated guidance. Each guide shows a version and a review date. If we correct an error in a guide you have bought, you receive the corrected version of that guide free; we email you when a correction is significant. We may also update these terms; the version that applies to your purchase is the one in place when you buy.

Law and complaints

These terms are governed by Spanish law, because that is where we are based. This does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live: if you live in the UK, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other mandatory UK consumer law still apply, and if you live in the EU, the mandatory consumer protections of your country still apply. If you are unhappy with anything, please email hello@wearehellobaby.com first so we can try to put it right. For anything about your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
